Playboy.com: You grew up in Northern California. How did you end up heading down south to evil Los Angeles?
Lindsay Gareth: I was four years old and I told my dad I'm going to be an actress. Literally, ever since then, that's what my life has been geared to. I went to USC, graduated in four years, and a year later was doing my first movie.
Playboy.com: Wait, are you a Trojans fan?
Gareth: Yep.
Playboy.com: This interview's over. We're still depressed from last year's Notre Dame loss.
Gareth: I just saw the other day that we're ranked No. 6.
Playboy.com: Yes, and look who's No. 2. It might be Notre Dame.... Anyway, you danced at the Pro Bowl halftime show. Are you an all-around sports fan?
Gareth: I'm a huge sports fan. Being from Northern California, of course, I'm a longtime San Francisco 49er fan. My second team would be the Philadelphia Eagles. And I'm definitely a Yankees fan.
Playboy.com: Your character shows up at a party in Bottoms Up where there are lots of naked girls running around. Is that a typical Hollywood party?
Gareth: Typical...yeah. [Laughs] Does everybody do it? No. But could you find it? Probably a lot easier than one would expect.
Playboy.com: We know what it's like to be an aspiring guy actor in L.A., more or less, from Swingers. But what's the female actor version of trying to get your big break in Hollywood?
Gareth: There are a lot of beautiful blonde aspiring actresses here, so you have to find a way to get your talent out. I've heard it all the time, "There's a ton of blondes out here who look just like you," so you have to find what separates you.
