What did you think of the resignation of Fidel Castro?

BLACK:
I actually read it on the bottom scroll on the TV in the back of a cab. Not on the TV, on the crawl. Okay, I think it should be on the TV. It's huge for these people who have spent their entire lives wrapped up in him. You know, after about 10 years of Castro it was obvious that he wasn't going to go away. The embargo, none of that worked. Nothing worked, except for making most of their lives miserable. We should have just given him what he wanted, which was a baseball team. Just let Cuba play. Put Cuba in the National League and I think we would have quietly taken them over in about three years.
