1. All models must be 18 years old at the time the video is shot. If selected for a Playmate shoot or to be highlighted on Playboy.com, models must provide two forms of government issued identifications, such as a driver's license or passport.

2. No nudity whatsoever is allowed. Please note your video will not be posted if it contains any nude content. All videos must also comply with YouTube's community guidelines which can be found at http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines

3. Videos should be no longer than two (2) minutes in length to be eligible.

4. If selected for a Playmate model shoot or to be highlighted on Playboy.com, you will be required to complete releases to transfer all rights in and to your video submission to Playboy.com.

5. By posting a video in response to this casting call, you hereby grant Playboy.com the non-exclusive license to the video, including the rights to claim the video on YouTube and post it on www.playboy.com and related sites as determined by Playboy.

6. Casting open to U.S. and Canadian residents only.

7. If your video is selected by Playboy to be featured on Playboy.com, you will be contacted by Playboy from the following address: YouTubeSearch@playboy.com. Do not send any personal information to anyone else claiming to be from Playboy.

8. Models selected for a Playmate model shoot will receive round trip transportation to the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, California for a two-day trip to include a tour of the Playboy Mansion; a fashion shoot featuring Playboy's latest collection; a Playboy pictorial that will appear on Playboy.com, and a private test-shoot with Holly Madison to be considered for Playboy's 55th Anniversary Playmate.

9. Playboy will select the top videos in its sole discretion.

FAQ ON PLAYBOY'S NATIONWIDE ONLINE MODEL SEARCH WITH YOUTUBE

How will the search work?
Holly Madison (Playboy magazine's assistant photo editor and star of E!'s top-rated show The Girls Next Door) has posted a video on YouTube announcing the nationwide Playboy model search. In that video, Holly invites interested applicants, 18 years or older, to post a video response on Playboy's YouTube Channel. Women may post videos on YouTube that show the world that they have what it takes to join the Playboy family.

What role will the YouTube community have on this search?
We are counting on the democracy of the YouTube community to help lift the best videos to the top, based on most-viewed, highest-rated, etc. That's not to say that Playboy's editors won't have their own ideas about which ones are best; our editors will have the final word, but we definitely have our eye on what the community thinks. For this reason, we're encouraging girls to get all their friends to watch their videos. If you have pages on MySpace or Facebook, you should get the word out and embed your YouTube video on your MySpace and Facebook pages. We'll even be providing "Send Me to Holly-wood!" banners to help you lobby your friends and family -- just go to www.playboy.com/pm55 for these!

What will happen to the best videos on YouTube?
Playboy's editors will select the best videos on YouTube and then feature these "Finalists" on Playboy.com where Playboy's most discriminating fans (our Playboy.com audience) can weigh in and pick their favorites. At the end of the process, four lucky women will be selected to continue their quest in L.A.

What happens to the girls with the best videos?
Remember, this is not a fan contest but rather a talent search. We will fly the girls with the best submissions to L.A. where they will be put through our real Playboy process. They will be shot by Playboy photographers for both a fashion shoot featuring Playboy's apparel collections and also a nude pictorial for Playboy.com. They will get a Playmate test shoot with Holly for consideration for the 55th Anniversary Playmate. While they are in L.A., they will get to see the world-renowned Playboy Mansion.

What kind of video should I create?
Well first, go to www.youtube.com/playboycasting and read all the rules carefully. Remember these key rules: you must be 18 or older and a U.S. or Canadian resident, there is no nudity, your video must be two minutes or less and, finally, by posting you agree that Playboy has certain rights to your video. As for the video, we really want to get a sense of the real you -- remember this is a video so remember to show us your personality in addition to showing us how well you can pose for a picture. We are looking for young women who look great but also have something to say or who can make us laugh.

How do I make sure Playboy can find my video?
We will be reviewing all the video responses, but you also may want to include the tag "PM55" when you post your video. We will occasionally do a search of all videos with that tag to ensure we've seen them all.

How do I post my video?
Once your video is ready to post, go back to www.youtube.com/playboycasting and simply click the blue button at the top of the page that reads "Click Here to Post your Video Response." Or you can watch Holly's video again and click "Post a Video Response."

What happens next?
Playboy will need to review your video before accepting it as a video response. So it may take a couple of days before you see your video on our YouTube Channel. Once it goes up, definitely work your friends network to get lots of views for your video. After a couple weeks, Playboy will start selecting finalists for weekly runoffs on Playboy.com. Come back to www.youtube.com/playboycasting regularly for updates.

When will I hear from Playboy?
Unfortunately, we won't be able to contact every girl. We will occasionally contact girls whose videos we want to feature on Playboy.com. We will also contact all girls that are being considered for advancement to the finals. At that time we will need some paperwork from you and proof of your age. Remember, YOU SHOULD ONLY RESPOND TO EMAILS FROM youtubesearch@playboy.com.
