Carmella DeCesare

laymate Carmella DeCesare snagged the title of Sexiest Athlete Wife of 2007, according to the fine folks at Co-Ed Magazine. She's also featured in the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. We know one thing: Jeff Garcia is a lucky man.

DeCesare, who's married to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller, is Playboy's 2004 Playmate of the Year. She beat out such notable hotties as Eva Longoria (married to NBA star Tony Parker) and Elin Nordegren (Tiger Woods's main squeeze), along with Playmates Jennifer Walcott (NFL's Adam Archuleta), Jodi Ann Paterson (race car driver Michael Andretti) and Lisa Dergan (baseball player Scott Posednik). Can you really feel bad that Garcia's Bucs lost in the playoffs? After all, that just means the lucky Buc gets to spend more quality time with Carmella. We caught up with his gorgeous "teammate" for a quick Q&A.

Playboy.com: Did you do any gloating to Jeff when you found out you had been named the sexiest athlete wife of 2007?

Carmella: Of course; it wouldn't be fair if I didn't. I have to keep him in check.

Playboy.com: Do you have a favorite NFL team, or is your team whoever Jeff's playing for?

Carmella: I will always be a Cleveland Browns fan at heart. That is where I'm from and that will never change. I am a fan of whatever team my husband plays for, but I'll always love my Browns.

Playboy.com: What kind of emotions do you go through when you're watching Jeff's games, knowing 300 pound lineman are zeroing in on your husband on every play?

Carmella: Watching Jeff play really makes football a different game for me. It's incredibly emotional for me because of the personal attachment. I just pray for a good game and that everyone stays healthy.

Playboy.com: Being an NFL QB's wife, you probably get to know a lot about the game. Who do you pick to win the Super Bowl?

Carmella: New England, but I think Green Bay has a great shot as well.
