How much are old PLAYBOY Magazines worth?

There’s a wide range of worth on old PLAYBOY magazine issues depending on its condition and rarity. Because of the magazine’s illustrious history, a copy has come a long way from selling for 50 cents in 1953!  

Some PLAYBOY magazine copies are available for purchase online for $30 to $100. But, some PLAYBOY magazines could be worth anywhere from $500 to several thousand dollars if they’re in good condition, according to Antique Trader. “An extremely rare, near-mint issue of the magazine professionally graded at 9.4 on a 10-point scale by CGC sold for $120,000 at Heritage Auctions in March 2023.” According to Go Collect, a 9.0 copy of the first PLAYBOY issue featuring Marilyn Monroe sold in 2016 for $26,290 and a 9.2 copy sold for $22,800.
