Brazilian Playboy Club creator Maciel bought her first Harley-Davidson motorcycle when she was 27 years old and has been customizing it on her own so it fits her personality. The bike is a 2011/2012 Sportster XL 1200 custom base model. The only aspect of the customization that she didn’t work on herself is the paint job, but she worked hard on the mechanics, the wheels, the seat and the handlebars.
“When I am on my motorcycle, I feel empowered. I feel that I can do anything that I want to,” she says.
Maciel’s motorcycle is inspired by the 1960’s and 1970’s era, and it has a sexual edge. The tire valve caps are in the shape of a penis, the words “Pussy Power” are hand painted on the front of the bike, there’s a bumper sticker that says “Loud pipes save lives… and get pussy” on the back, and a sticker that says “the more I learn about boys, the more I like my motorcycle” on the side of the bike.
The back of the pillion is in the shape of a heart with a fuzzy white tail hanging, and the rearview mirror is the shape of a heart. The handlebars were transformed with sparkly turquoise grip covers, and the clear cap of the fuel tank encases feathers, a butterfly, and playing cards.
Other than motorcycles, Maciel loves tattoos and the naked body, which is why she became a creator. About 95% of her body is covered in colorful tattoo art, including a Playboy tattoo.
She is part of The Suicide Girls, a community of creators who believe in committing societal suicide by being bold, being diverse, coloring their hair, and modifying their bodies with piercings and tattoos.
“Nowadays, women are committing suicide in society by being diverse and showing off their naked bodies, so I believe in empowering ourselves with our naked body,” Maciel says.
