Editor’s note: In addition to her modeling career, Playboy Club creator Jorden is a passionate chef with a love for all things culinary. We asked her to tell us about her 5 favorite chefs she follows to keep her inspiration ignited.

David Kinch

Jorden says: David Kinch is a visionary. He is a three Michelin Star chef who not only owned Manresa, which people flew from around the globe to eat at, but he is also an Emmy winner for his documentary Mind Of A Chef. David Kinch’s culinary excellence is internationally known, and he has been flown globally to cook for everyone from celebrity to royalty. His food is not only delicious and unique, it makes you think. I remember the first time I ate (at) Manresa. The staff work magic, it’s like they are there when you need them anticipating your every wish, but you never feel overwhelmed. Definitely four of the best hours of my life. David also has other incredible restaurants —The Bywater and Mentone — all bred in Northern California. He is my hero, and if you’re on that side of the world, take it from me, you want to indulge.

Todd English

Jorden: Todd English is the #badboy of chefs, with several restaurants worldwide, numerous TV appearances, and now The Todd English Hotel in Las Vegas. I just love his food. When it comes to Todd, your choices are endless, some of my favorites being Olives, The Beast, and of course Figs. I love how he focuses on sustainability. Great food just makes you want to have a good time, and that is what you experience in his establishments. He is always on the go and into some new delicious venture. Food should be enticing, fun, and just plain yummy. If it does not give you an orgasm when you put it in your mouth, why eat it?

Grant Achatz

Jorden’s take: I am absolutely obsessed with Alinea in Chicago. I have never been to a restaurant so beautifully orchestrated — everything from the custom-designed dishes for each plating to the sugar balloons that come out for dessert. The only thing I can compare it to would be falling down the rabbit hole like Alice in Wonderland, it truly is a journey. Grant is a three Michelin star, James Beard award-winning chef who makes edible magic. You must  be prepared to fall in love for hours. You don’t book reservations, you book an experience, because that is what you have — a sexy experience.  

Jose Andres

Jorden: Jose Andres is not only a culinary genius, but he gives back to the community, always helping to feed people around the world. I have so many favorites, because I have eaten at so many of his restaurants: The Bazaar, Butterfly, Nubeluz and  Zaytinya. I have never been disappointed. I adore his Spanish flair, and his food is so flavorful, full of color and life. You taste with your eyes first, and when his dishes are presented, you want more. I love to travel and to eat, and when I see a restaurant by Jose Andres, it is always my first stop.

David Burke

Jorden says: David Burke is an East Coast legend. With eighteen restaurants to choose from, his food quickly becomes your happy place. My favorites include David Burke Tavern, David Burke Kitchen and Woodpecker By David Burke, all located in the greatest city in the world — New York. I just crave a good comfort meal, and he is the master of it. Burke has been featured on several TV shows, and his cookbooks are amazing if you dabble in the kitchen yourself. Food should always be a celebration and a joy, it should make you feel emotion, and when you eat at David Burke’s restaurants it feels like home.
