The Fleetwood Mac Song Lindi Nunziato Loves Most

At this point, the stories revolving around Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumors” album are no longer deep lore. Each member of the band was wrestling with romantic turmoil, sometimes with fellow band members. These heightened emotional states made for a legendary album, and “Dreams” is one of Playboy Creator’s Lindi Nunziato’s all-time favorites.

Why Lindi Nunziato loves Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”

“When I’m feeling down, blue, happy, or anything. I just always listen to that song,” Lindi Nunziato told Playboy.

“Dreams” is the second single released on the Fleetwood Mac album “Rumors.” Its B-Side is “Songbird.” The song was written by Stevie Nicks at Record Plant studio in Sausalito, California.

In a story she told Blender magazine, Nicks wrote the song in 10 minutes, after fiddling with a drum machine. When Nicks presented it to the group, they weren’t keen on it.

“They weren’t nuts about it. But I said ‘Please! Please record this song, at least try it,’” Nicks said. “Because the way I play things sometimes… you really have to listen.”

Upon its release, the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It reached the charts again in 2011, when the “Rumors” episode of “Glee” aired and reignited the song’s popularity.

For Zoomers, the song is associated with a viral Tik Tok video from 2020. In the video, laborer Nathan Apodaca lip-synced the song while skateboarding and sipping on a jug of Ocean Spray cranberry juice.

Lindi loves the song, but reserves a special place in her heart for “Dreams” writer Stevie Nicks, who of course, has a celebrated solo career outside of Fleetwood Mac.

“She’s my favorite, I listen to her all the time,” Lindi said.
