Eagles vs. Packers: Social Media’s Best NFL Prop Bets for Friday

Cheerleaders for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles on the sidelines of a game.
Most Fridays don't offer NFL action but Sep. 6 does! Pitting two rabid fanbases against each other, Eagles vs. Packers from Brazil will be intense.

Now that Chiefs vs. Ravens has officially kicked off the 2024-25 NFL regular season, Eagles vs. Packers will bring us a Friday encore. To up the ante, Philadelphia is serving as the home team, but not from “The Linc.” As part of the NFL’s International Series, this NFC matchup will be the league’s inaugural game played in Brazil.

NFL Takes On Brazil

As a stand-alone contest (sure, there is also college football tonight), Eagles vs. Packers from South America is a fantastic game to dive into. On the morning of kickoff, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Philadelphia as a two-point favorite. However, with this romp being so far away from either team’s home city, it can be arduous to find a lean in terms of the outright winner.

I sat down with Kendra Middleton of 98.5 The Sports Hub last week. She informed me she is supporting the Eagles against the spread (ATS) for NFL Week 1. I love Middleton’s confidence, but perhaps we can find other gambling angles via prop bets.

Surveying The Field

These days, social media and sports betting go hand-in-hand. Whether for quick dissemination or the ability to creatively craft content, the two industries thrive off one another like gas to a flame.

Let’s peruse the digital avenues to see which NFL prop bets are gaining public traction for Eagles vs. Packers. Keep in mind: kickoff from São Paulo’s Corinthians Arena is on Friday, September 6 at 8:15 p.m. ET. Peacock will carry the event’s livestream.
