Nobody does cosplay quite as good as anime fans, and Playboy Creator Mizzimie is proof positive of that. Mizzimie has an awesome take on Tamaki Kotatsu from Fire Force, and to put it lightly, it’s pretty hot.
Who is Tamaki Kotatsu?
In the post-apocalyptic action anime Fire Force, survivors live in the Tokyo Empire, that’s dealing with the increasing incidents of humans combusting and turning into walking infernos called “Infernals” led by a doomsday cult. Kotatsu is a member of Special Fire Force Company I, an elite team tasked with extinguishing Infernals.
Kotatsu is endowed with special abilities, chief among them is being fireproof. Her Ignition Ability surrounds her body with a pink flame. Kotatsu’s Nekomata abilities grants her cat-like powers, including sharp nails and two forked tails.
Why Mizzimie loves to do Tamaki Kotatsu cosplay
“Her character is hilarious. She’s this cute gal, but her clothes keep falling off, for whatever reason when she fights people. She doesn’t mean for her clothes to fall off, but it does and I think that’s hilarious. I just really look up to her. She tries her best to work hard and protect the people she loves. I also really like her aesthetic when she powers up.”
Mizziemie has a handful of images and videos on her Instagram featuring the character, which her followers adored. Multiple fans responded with gifs of men bleeding profusely through their nose, a common reaction to a beautiful women in anime.
Aside from her Insta, Mizzimie wore this cosplay when she attended Hentai Matusri, an adult anime convention in Las Vegas in mid-June.
Tamaki Kotatsu, like many anime protagonists, rides the line between stoic and powerful and silly and sexy.
“I love the switch between her cute side and her super serious,” Mizzimie said. “The ‘I’m gonna beat you up right now!’ kind of style.”
