In the world’s most romantic city, Cameron Brink of the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks wasn’t exactly expecting boyfriend Ben Felter to propose, but that’s exactly what she got on Monday!
Of course, it is currently Fashion Week in Paris. Brink was lounging at the Shangri-La Hotel when she received the surprise of a lifetime. According to People Magazine, the NCAA champion had no idea Felter was even in Europe, as she thought he was back home in California.
For Brink, it was possibly the easiest adult decision she’s been presented with, and she took to Instagram to state, “Yes in every lifetime.”
Having met as students at Stanford University, Brink and Felter have been dating officially since March 2021. That gives these two approximately three-and-a-half years of relationship experience together.
Pop culture loves a young and attractive power couple. But just who are Cameron Brink and Ben Felter?
Who Is Cameron Brink?
Cameron Brink just completed her rookie season playing for the Los Angeles Sparks. If it wasn’t for the Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry, Brink might have been the league’s most notable rook in quite some time.
Brink — who will turn 23 on New Year’s Eve — had an illustrious collegiate career playing for the Stanford Cardinal. Under the legendary coach Tara VanDerveer, Brink was a national champion and three-time All-American. She averaged 14.1 PPG, 9.1 RPG and 3.1 BPG throughout four campaigns at Stanford.
In the WNBA, the action has not been as smooth for Brink. Back on June 18, she suffered a season-ending ACL injury. The Sparks proceeded to go 8-32 in 2024, which was the worst record in the WNBA. Still, Brink managed to become somewhat of a fashion icon for the league—playing in Los Angeles certainly has its perks.
With the 6’4″ Brink prepared to hit the court again in 2025, the next few months for her will be a whirlwind of wedding planning and physical rehabilitation.
Who Is Ben Felter?
As noted, Ben Felter was and is also a Stanford student. At the moment, he is a graduate in the prestigious university’s computer science program.
Felter was also a student-athlete for the Cardinal. Per Stanford Athletics, he previously competed at the IRA Championships as a member of the varsity rowing team. He is also a Palo Alto local boy.
Most importantly, Felter has been incredibly supportive of Brink’s career and stardom. There are always tribulations that come along with dating a professional athlete, but Felter appears up to the challenge.
