When somebody tells you, “My hometown was so small that we didn’t even have a stoplight,” you’re probably like, Yeah, I call bullshit on that one.
But sometimes it’s the absolute truth. And if you don’t believe it, Playboy Club model Hollie Nicole would call bullshit on you.
A native of teeny-tiny Rush Springs, Oklahoma (2024 population: 1,008), grown-up Hollie landed in a big (or bigger) city in the Sooner State, where she creates eye-popping content and hosts a music-oriented podcast called Teaser Talk. She took time away from her busy schedule to, naturally, tease and talk.
Playboy: Give us a thumbnail history of your pod.
Hollie: I had an online boutique called Concert Tees, and I would always be invited either backstage or to meet-and-greets [to chat with the musicians]. I thought, I should capture these conversations and put them somewhere where everyone can connect with their favorite artist. So why not do so in a podcast?
Playboy: What are your five favorite Teaser Talk interviews?
Hollie: Jeremy Spencer from Five Finger Death Punch. He was my first interview, and that gave me the confidence to speak with somebody at that high level. Also, Jess Margera from CKY, Travis Mills from girlfriends, Chris Reed from Third Eye Blind, and Rob Felicetti from Bowling For Soup, who’s always so much fun. If you told me when I was a 15-year-old emo kid that I’d be doing this, I’d be like, Oh my gosh, you’re such a cool-ass adult.
Playboy: Talk about the Venn diagram between your version of podcasting and your version of adult content.
Hollie: I think [I create] a safe space in both arenas to be who you are and not feel judged, to not be ashamed of yourself. It’s funny, a lot of people [I interview] tell me, “I was just hopping on here to see a hot girl. But I really enjoyed our conversation.”
Playboy: Do you find the fact you’re an adult entertainer gets your interview subjects to open up more so than if you were just some girl from a one-stoplight town?
Hollie: Maybe that does have something to do with it. It’s funny to see the reactions when people learn about my adult content—it’s almost like they get nervous. I think it can kind of come off as intimidating, but it also creates mystery about who I am. But I don’t know if they’re actually thinking, Let me impress you. Maybe I’m oblivious. [Laughs]
Playboy: Give me some of your dream interviews.
Hollie: Oh my gosh! Okay, so Blink 182, most definitely.
Playboy: All three of them or one guy in particular?
Hollie: A girl will take what a girl can get, but all three of them would be magical. And then Machine Gun Kelly. I’m friends with one of the guys in his band, but I’d never, ever put him in the position [of asking to line up an interview]. I also want to say Guns N’ Roses. I’ve seem them several times, and they’re just sweet guys. I [suspect] Slash would probably be the friendliest. I think Axl Rose would give me a run for my money.
Playboy: That’s putting it lightly.
Hollie Right? I want to definitely interview somebody from Metallica—that would be super-rad. And I’ll throw in an emo band: My Chemical Romance.
Playboy: What turns you on and/or off?
Hollie: A huge, major turn on is most definitely somebody taking the lead, knowing what they want and is confident in their decisions—but not cocky. A major turn off is somebody who’s just not nice. It should be simple to be kind, but somehow a lot of people find it challenging. If somebody’s rude or mean, that gives me an automatic ick.
Playboy: Is there somebody who inspired you to create adult content?
HOLLIE: Pamela Anderson. I remember being in elementary school, [checking out] this bombshell in Playboy, and thinking, Oh, my gosh, this girl is fabulous. Seeing her [posing] on all those beaches helped me realize there was life outside of my small town, a life where people are doing all these fantastic, amazing, fabulous things. Even now, I can close my eyes and remember watching Baywatch from my sofa in Rush Springs and thinking, Whoa, that is glamour, that’s where I want to go in life. And that really made me a huge fan of Playboy.
