With the holidays officially upon us, there is no better moment than here and now to learn a new baking recipe. Fortunately for all of us, “Playboy Peach Pie” just happens to a specialty of Vogue France photographer Ella Marciano’s!
Naturally, this French photographer can capture beauty in an oven the same way she does from behind a camera. Continuing with that line of thinking, why not combine the two practices by introducing a bakery-themed photoshoot with Playboy Club model Naya?
Well, we did exactly that!
To see how the magic is made, continue reading. Ella’s pie recipe is incredibly easy to follow and sure to churn out amazing results. Additionally, here’s an ode to the world’s most popular fruit emoji.
To create Playboy Peach Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white sugar
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 1 (14.1 oz) package of double-crust pie crust
- 10 fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 homemade Playboy stencil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix sugar, flour and butter in a medium bowl until crumbly. Set aside.
- Cook chopped peaches in a saucepan on medium heat for approx. 1 hour to make crushable. Add sugar to taste.
- Line a 9-inch tart pan with a bottom crust, keeping half the dough for the top crust. Arrange a layer of peaches in the bottom crust.
- Place the Playboy stencil on the second part of the flattened top crust, then cut around it and remove the inner part.
- Cover the tart with the top lattice crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for approx. 45 minutes or until golden brown.
