Fosh’s Buffalo Chicken Sliders are Touchdown-Worthy

Fosh is so excited for the upcoming big game between the Chiefs and Eagles, she's making Buffalo chicken sliders!

The big game is very nearly here. Regardless if you’re supporting Kansas City or Philadelphia this year, most of us are really here for the party. Of course, these festivities always provide eclectic feasts, and Playboy Club model Fosh has a recipe for Buffalo chicken sliders that are bursting with flavor!

Behind her East Coast roots, Fosh Posh is an avid fan of the New York Jets. That leaves her in neutral territory for the big game this Sunday, freeing up more energy to create a heart-warming meal. If you can handle the heat, these spicy sliders are incredibly delicious.

To create Buffalo chicken sliders:

Ingredients for the chicken:

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 TSP salt
  • ½ TSP black pepper
  • ½ TSP smoked paprika
  • ½ TSP garlic powder

Ingredients for the Buffalo sauce:

  • ½ cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot is perfect)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 TBL honey
  • 1 TBL apple cider vinegar
  • ½ TSP garlic powder

Ingredients for the sliders:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ½ cup ranch or blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • ¼ cup pickles (optional, but a little tang is always fun)
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack or blue cheese crumbles

Directions:

  1. Prep the Chicken. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika and garlic powder.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or air fry for 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
  4. Sauce It Up. In a saucepan over low heat, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, honey, apple cider vinegar and garlic powder.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks and toss it in the Buffalo sauce until fully coated.
  6. Assemble the Sliders. Slice the Hawaiian buns in half and toast lightly for that perfect golden touch.
  7. Layer with shredded lettuce, a scoop of buffalo chicken, a drizzle of ranch or blue cheese dressing, red onion slices and pickles (optional).
  8. Sprinkle with shredded cheese or blue cheese crumbles for extra decadence.
  9. Serve. Stack sliders on a platter, add a side of extra ranch for dipping. Enjoy!

“These spicy, saucy, and oh-so-seductive buffalo chicken sliders are the ultimate game day bite,” Fosh described to PLAYBOY. “Perfectly juicy, dripping with flavor, and just messy enough to keep things interesting,” she continued. Oh yes, sign me up for anything like that.
