PLAYBOY: Let’s start at the beginning—where were you born & raised?

Camille Corbett: I am from Atlanta, Georgia, but by this point, I’ve lived in Los Angeles for quite some time.

PLAYBOY: What was your upbringing like?

Camille Corbett: I loved being raised in Atlanta, mostly because I was always around hot wings and sweet tea—what’s a better childhood than that? I also loved being outdoors in Georgia. I love the forests that I would explore as a child, and to this day, I still love to go hiking because of that. It reminds me of my childhood.

I grew up with a dad who was in the NFL. He was an NFL player turned entrepreneur. On the other hand, my mom is a Jamaican immigrant. Each of them had very different viewpoints on life. I am definitely a weird amalgamation of both my parents.

PLAYBOY: Whether modeling or in comedy, what is it about performing really that lights your fire?

Camille Corbett: I love entertaining people on every level. I love figuring out what character to be and just delving into it. I think that’s what I love about it: building the world.

I’ve read over a thousand books. I consider myself just as much of a writer as I am of a performer. For me, being able to build a world through my body — and not just through my hands and mind — is incredible and it’s something that I definitely want to explore for the rest of my life.

PLAYBOY: I know you have a highly anticipated gig this Valentine’s Day! What are your thoughts and feelings heading into Sleepover Comedy Show?

Camille Corbett: Sleepover Comedy Show is something that came from my deviant little mind because I was dreading Valentine’s Day! I wanted a way to make this holiday incredible, so I just thought about doing the comedy show of my dreams! I’d been wanting to do a slumber-party themed comedy show for a minute, and this was the perfect opportunity.

It’ll be giving grown & sexy vibes, and honestly, things just started to come in play. I met Xavier Henderson, and he gave me the gumption to create a show that I want, have the sort of people that I want involved, and have this really strong vision. Because of that, we have an incredible lineup. I’m so excited for all of the performers that are going to be there. I’m excited for everyone that’s going to come! I’m also thrilled to use SoundBite Studios because it’s such a beautiful venue.

We really view it as a place that’s not only a great date night, but a wonderful place to find a partner. If you’re afraid to go to a comedy show by yourself, this is the perfect place to do it because you’re at a sleepover! Everyone has to interact with each other. This is going to be a very interactive comedy show. It’s going to be very fun and like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. And most importantly, women who wear their PJs get in free! For couples, we have a two-for-one deal. So, if you want to make sure that your man won’t look at another woman in her PJs, bring him to this event—it’s a great test!

PLAYBOY: You’re our Westwood neighbor! Care to share what you have going on at UCLA?

Camille Corbett: So, I’m a Bruin via teaching at the UCLA Extension program. I teach comedy writing there, which is a gift in itself. I’ve been lucky enough to write on a few TV shows, and being able to translate comedy through another form has always been enriching. I actually was a TV writer before I became a comedian. The whole reason why I became a stand-up comedian is because I got tired of writing for other people. I thought, “When am I gonna get my jokes off??” I was writing on more family friendly shows at the time, so it was nice to tell my gross girl jokes and have another platform for that.

PLAYBOY: Switching gears, how did your relationship with PLAYBOY come together?

Camille Corbett: I’ve always been a huge fan of PLAYBOY growing up. As a writer, it’s always been my dream to be published in PLAYBOY. I’m pretty sure every slightly pervy writer has wanted to be published in PLAYBOY with some of their literary fiction.

The relationship formed after I had been posting on social media, and obviously, I post nothing but comedy and thirst traps—that’s all you’re going to get from me! Eventually, PLAYBOY and others reached out to me about being a part of their platforms. I chose PLAYBOY and it was 100% an easy decision. Being an artist that PLAYBOY approves of is something that I hold with pride.

PLAYBOY: Naturally, February is known for love. How would you spoil someone you are crushing on?

Camille Corbett: One of my followers recently called me a female simp, which I honestly appreciate. I am a bit of a simp. If you’ve convinced me that I should put effort, time and all of that into you, I will put forth a lot of effort.

I’m obsessed with aesthetics and how things look, so I love getting my man outfits. I love making him look good. I also love cooking! I very much consider myself a foodie. I’m always trying out new recipes, new cuisines and going to restaurants. So, for Valentine’s Day, we would go on a shopping spree and then I would cook for you. Then, hopefully, every orifice would be filled.

PLAYBOY: It’s 2025—what should PLAYBOY readers look for from you this year?

Camille Corbett: Look out for “Silly Bitch Music Vol. 2”.  I’m releasing another musical comedy album. I’m very excited about that. I’m also excited for my video, “Wash Your Ass,” to drop. You guys are going to be obsessed with it. It’s a love song, and something that you need in your life. You need someone who loves you enough to tell you to wash your ass. It’s going to be a bop!

Additionally, I’m going to be doing an hour of comedy this year for my birthday, so keep an eye out for tickets, as I am the epitome of “gross girl” comedy. I’m pretty sure that’s going to be the title of my first comedy special. Be on the lookout for that as well!

PLAYBOY: What are some aspects of life that make you feel most beautiful?

Camille Corbett: For me, I have a superiority complex. Anything that makes me feel like I am better than other people makes me feel beautiful. Honestly, being pretentious makes me feel beautiful. Knowing that I’m an intelligent woman, I’m educated and I’m very well accomplished—that makes me feel beautiful. You can’t take that away! I feel like beauty is something that you cannot take away. So for me, my kindness and my humor are always going to make me beautiful, regardless. In addition, if we’re going to go shallow, my hair is long, pussy tight, face snatched, body snatched—that also makes me feel beautiful because I am too shallow.
