Insanely popular Columbian Playboy Club model Agnex is a natural in front of the camera, but is equally at home whipping up culinary masterpieces in the kitchen as a professional chef. She sat down with us to discuss her favorite cuisines, being a loud and proud Taurus, and why there’s always room for ice cream in your life.

PLAYBOY: To start us off, where are you from?

Agnex: I am from Columbia, from Medellín. But I moved to Spain about six years ago.

PLAYBOY: What was the first thing you dreamed of achieving?

Agex: To be honest, I always wanted to be a chef, which is what I do professionally. But before realizing this dream, I always wanted to be close to animals. I always had a very healthy ego, and was always comfortable in my own skin, especially when it came to expressing myself.

And Playboy was a brand I was always drawn to, which is why I started modeling. I’m proud to say that I’ve achieved just about all these dreams. My younger self would be very proud of me.

PLAYBOY: What cuisines do you specialize in as a chef?

Agnex: I’m really into healthy food. As a chef, I’m always looking for a way to make healthy, practical, easy, and most of all, delicious. I’m currently writing a cookbook that compiles a lot of the knowledge I’ve picked up over the years, when it comes to cooking healthy.

But I love all kinds of cuisines. Fusion, Italian, Spanish, American. But I tend to gravitate more towards Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. And of course, Latin cuisine, because I’m Columbian.

PLAYBOY: What do you obsess about?

Agex: At this point in my life, I am most obsessed with my personal welfare and the collective welfare of society.

We’re living in important times, and even as a young girl I loved having the power to simply help those in need. I’m a Taurus, so I’m always looking out for the people around me, in my life. I obsess about a lot of things, honestly. But it usually boils down to just being my most authentic self.

PLAYBOY: Describe your perfect day.

Agenx: I love to start my days early. I live near the beach, so I love waking up, having my coffee, watching the sunrise, followed by a walk on the beach.

Then, I’ll take in some brunch. And I’m definitely a homebody, who loves being near family, especially my daughter. Any time spent with family is quality time. A perfect day would include delicious food, great views, and my family.

PLAYBOY: What possession do you treasure most?

Agnex: My home. Both as an economic and personal achievement.

PLAYBOY: Do you believe in astrology?

Agnex: It’s funny because when I was a kid people would tell me I’m a Taurus. And I would respond, “I’m not a bull, I’m a girl!” But I came from a superstitious family, especially my mother.

You could say I inherited her witchy side. I’m a huge Taurus. I’m loyal, practical, stable, love routine. I love the good life. And yes, we’re stubborn, of course. But I love my sign, I even have a tattoo commemorating it.

PLAYBOY: What food do you reach for when you’re feeling blue?

Agnex: Ice cream! I love ice cream, all year round, even in winter. My favorite flavor is pistachio. I’m not huge on chocolate. I gravitate towards fruity flavors. Gelato is great too.

PLAYBOY: Is there a show you’re currently obsessed with?

Agenx: I love the The Office. I’m watching it over again. My sense of humor is very dark. I love making my friends and family laugh, and I have to admit it, sometimes I go a little overboard.

And The Office is all about this sort of humor. Michael Scott always makes me laugh. But Pam is my favorite, I always find myself relating to her, and her masculine energy.
