NFL Week 1: ESPN’s Erin Kate Dolan’s Picks for Chiefs vs. Ravens

Erin Kate Dolan, a well-regarded influencer in the NFL player props betting space, poses at a recent event.
Chiefs vs. Ravens opens NFL Week 1 on Thursday night. Betting guru Erin Kate Dolan dives into player props for the opener.

The day is here. Sound the alarms. NFL Week 1 is officially upon us and Erin Kate Dolan of ESPN has spoken. If it’s player props for Chiefs vs. Ravens that you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place.

In 2024, there are myriad ways to get sports betting picks over the digital chutes of social media, but it can be challenging to sift through those that are credible (and those that are not). Rest assured, Dolan is a veteran of this burgeoning industry. Also, she carries just over 442K followers between Instagram and X, so she must be doing something right.

Just in case you’ve been under a rock, there is NFL tonight. Kickoff from Arrowhead Stadium is on Thursday, September 5 at 8:20 p.m. ET. NBC and Peacock will carry the national broadcast. Let’s see what Dolan has in store for the regular season opener.

Erin Kate Dolan’s Player Props For Chiefs vs. Ravens

Isiah Pacheco Over 15.5 1Q Rushing Yards

“Just trust me on that one,” exclaims Dolan.

Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco averaged 66.8 rushing yards per game in 2023, which can be broken down into 16.7 yards per quarter. In last season’s AFC championship at Baltimore, Pacheco churned out 68 yards on the ground. She is confident Pacheco can produce at least 16 rushing yards in the first quarter of tonight’s primetime clash.

Xavier Worthy Under 45.5 Receiving Yards

Dolan acknowledges Xavier Worthy‘s blazing speed, but as a rookie, she wants to see more from the Chiefs receiver before betting any of his overs. That thought is compounded by the fact that K.C. is taking on a fierce Ravens secondary. In 2023, Baltimore’s defense allowed just 5.9 yards per passing attempt, tied for best in the NFL.

Lamar Jackson Under 8.5 Rushing Attempts

Next, Erin shifts her attention to a player prop on the reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson. Jackson is an athlete that has everyone’s attention (he ranked highly on Playboy’s “5 Buzziest Quarterbacks Entering 2024-25” list). But despite the hype, Dolan has the dynamic signal-caller carrying the ball for less than nine rushing attempts on Thursday.

She cites the presence of All-Pro tailback Derrick Henry as a reason to believe Jackson’s ground production will dwindle. After all, why have your two-time MVP quarterback take the hits when you have a 6’3″, 245-pound running back?

Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 Interceptions

For her final Chiefs vs. Ravens player prop, Dolan is targeting superstar Patrick Mahomes and probably not in the way you would think. She is banking on Mahomes to throw at least one interception on Thursday. Dolan cites the obscure-but-important stat that he has been picked off in 70% of his NFL primetime games.

Mahomes set a career high in 2023 by throwing 14 interceptions. Additionally, he committed at least one interception in 12 of his 20 games played (including the postseason) last year.
