Sex, Cosplay and Rock & Roll: Meet Violet Myers

Violet Myers has all the makings of a superstar.
The beautiful Violet shares her origin story, cosplay fandom, sex advice and more.

In any hyper-competitive space, failing to completely commit — also known as “half-stepping” — will only get you so far. Most often, success is reserved for those who, at the bare minimum, entrench themselves in their respective craft. Naturally, this hustler’s notion is one that adult-entertainment megastar Violet Myers is well familiar with.

Violet Myers is an adult entertainment superstar that shines as a performer and a director. She also loves her hometown of Los Angeles, anime and gaming!

A So-Cal beauty, Violet (rep. Sandra McCarthy/OC Modeling) is navigating her own meteoric rise. In the wise words of former NFLer Marshawn Lynch, Ms. Myers is “about that action, boss.” She continually captivates as a performer while exuding brilliant creative vision as a director. Simply, Violet knows what you want to see and how to make it happen.

Fortunately for everyone, she has an electric personality to fit perfectly with her dazzling appearance. At this point, I’m quite convinced that Jim Morrison wrote his 1971 hit, “L.A. Woman” with a premonition of Violet in mind.

Lovely as she is, Violet sat down for a fun conversation with PLAYBOY’s Gabriel Santiago. The two converse on various topics, such as rising through the sex industry, cosplay adventures, Los Angeles culture, intimacy advice and much more. Proceed with caution! Curves lie ahead …

PLAYBOY: Let’s start at the beginning—where were you born & raised?

Violet Myers: In Southern California. I am a born-and-raised Los Angeles native!

PLAYBOY: What was your upbringing like?

Violet Myers: I was heavy into music, movies, anime and video games. I was pretty nerdy growing up. I wouldn’t say I was the smartest, but I was definitely very creative. I used to go to school where uniforms were required, but I just remember being super creative with it and always standing out.

PLAYBOY: How did your journey into the world of adult content creation start?

Violet Myers: It started when I was in college! I was dating this guy, and he and I actually used to do couples web-camming. It was helping us get through college and pay for our stuff. Then, we broke up, and I still needed the money, so I started doing web-camming solo, but only on specific days because I was a full-time student that was also working part-time at a regular job.

From there, I wanted to increase the volume of my content, and that’s when I discovered adult entertainment. It was a thrill being in front of the camera for millions of people to see, versus a small specific viewership. Also, I started my career in Florida. I did a couple scenes, fell in love with it, and just decided to drop out of school and make it my full time!

PLAYBOY: I know you are also passionate about cosplay! How did that begin?

Violet Myers: Well, I loved fashion growing up, so I would watch anime and fall in love with the character designs and their outfits. I was always inspired by the Harajuku style and Japanese street wear.

I didn’t really start cosplaying until I could actually afford to. That’s when I really got into it because it is an expensive hobby, but it’s indescribable when you get to dress up as your favorite character. It’s like Halloween every single day!

PLAYBOY: To someone who is unfamiliar, how would you describe a “waifu”?

Violet Myers: Basically, it can be translated to an admirer. There’s another related term, “husbando,” which is for a waifu’s future husband. Of course, the “waifu” is your wife. Really, I like to think of myself like an anime character, and not like a real person.

When I say I’m a waifu, it’s like a fantasy. I’m your dream girl, in a sense. That’s my definition, anyway. A wife, someone you want to marry, someone you admire, someone you love.

PLAYBOY: Across the anime universe, who are some of your favorite characters to portray?

Violet Myers: I love JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and the characters. I think what’s best about their costumes is the fact that they do really cool poses. They’re very flexible, so, when you’re doing the cosplay, and you’re becoming the character, you get to hit these cool poses! That’s what they’re really known for.

PLAYBOY: When playing Super Smash Bros., who is your go-to fighter?

Violet Myers: Donkey Kong and Kirby are my two mains! I’m a huge Donkey Kong fan. I love that he’s such a big character. He’s very intimidating, but he’s not a villain. Unlike Bowser, Donkey Kong is actually a good guy.

PLAYBOY: I respect that! Dragon Ball Z now. Sexier overall vibe—Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo or Krillin?

Violet Myers: Well, I was always the Naruto girl, but I did grow up watching some Dragon Ball Z. If I had to choose between those four, I’m going to choose Vegeta. He has that sex appeal in my opinion. He has “BD” energy.

PLAYBOY: To switch gears, whether modeling or performing, what is it about being on camera that lights your fire?

Violet Myers: What lights my fire is the fact that I’m having an audience watch me and they’re choosing to watch me. That just brings out a different character out of me. That’s when I feel like I become true “Violet Myers,” in a sense. It’s like my alter ego, and just knowing that someone is enjoying it makes me want to put on a performance.

When someone’s spending their time enjoying that content, it makes them want to come back. When I go into shooting a scene, I’m always thinking about it from a third-person point of view. I’m always thinking, “What does the viewer want to see?” I feel like that’s why I have a huge connection with my fans. I listen and I learn a lot from them. I’m basically like a performer for the people—that’s my mindset going into a scene.

PLAYBOY: As you ascend through the adult entertainment industry, how does it feel to be directing and working behind the camera?

Violet Myers: As someone who’s been in front of the camera for many years, I think being behind the camera is just as great! It’s a different perspective. I didn’t realize how hard it was — being behind the camera — because you are responsible for making the whole come to life. It all falls on your hands, so it’s definitely more of a challenge, but I love a good challenge! I feel like elevating in the adult industry and doing different avenues of adult work really makes my brain work better.

PLAYBOY: What’s your favorite aspect of directing?

Violet Myers: I really like being behind the camera and showing people how to move, especially because I have a perverted point of view, as well. I know what the audience wants to see, especially being behind and being in front of the camera. I’m able to get to know what the talent is feeling like and kind of point them to being a better performer.

PLAYBOY: Any advice for those just getting started in adult content creation?

Violet Myers: I can’t say this often enough: be yourself! I feel like being yourself really does make a difference. When you’re just being your authentic self, that really stands out because there’s so many people trying to be one person. So, I say it so often, but many people don’t really listen. It’s about being yourself and finding your niche, whether that’s sports, video games, anime etc. Be very vocal about your personality so people can resonate with it and feel like you’re more than just that person that’s performing. You’re also a human being!

That’s what I feel like I’ve gained with my audience. They see the performances, but they also see that you’re relatable. After all, you’re a person with a personality. I wish I told myself that a little more in the beginning: stick to your roots, be your own person, have your own personality. Don’t try to compare yourself to many others because comparing yourself to others can really destroy your self-esteem. Also, you have to have to believe in yourself and have major confidence. Once that happens, others will also see it.

PLAYBOY: Mexican and Chicanx culture is so vibrant all throughout Southern California—what are some things that make you most proud to be Mexican?

Violet Myers: It starts with the fact that I was raised by all Mexican women. Seeing how strong they are, raising me and a bunch of my siblings, I think the culture is truly very beautiful. The food is amazing. I can’t really say anything negative about it, but it makes me very proud to be very vocal about it, especially in social media because there isn’t that much representation on it.

growing up a no sabo kid and now taking im taking my Spanish lessons serious. 🤓👍 #duolingo sponser me yeah?

When I was younger, I would always look up to Spanish artists and influencers at the time that were very proud of being Mexican-American. Honestly, there aren’t that many. There’s a lot of people that you wouldn’t really guess they’re Hispanic, but the reason why I want to be so vocal about it is because there’s always going to be that one person looking for someone to look up to—I wanted to be that person.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m very proud of being American. I’m also Salvadorian and Turkish from my dad’s side. I think Chicana culture — especially living in Los Angeles — is everywhere. It’s around me. It wasn’t until I left LA that I realized, “Wow, Mexicana culture runs strong everywhere.” Still, I just really admired the fact that my family taught me to be vocal about it. I’m very proud of my cultures.

PLAYBOY: Asking a Los Angeles girlie. Between the Lakers, Dodgers, Clippers, USC, UCLA or other, which games are the best to attend in LA?

Violet Myers: Laker games and USC games! I remember going to them when I was enrolling in college and trying to decide between UCLA and USC. My whole family roots for USC, and USC football games are super fun since it’s right near DTLA. That’s also true for Laker games.

In my opinion, when Kobe Bryant was alive, that was the prime for being a Laker fan. It’s definitely still a proud fan base, but when Kobe passed away, it was a devastation to the city. Also, it hurt when they changed the name of where the Lakers play. That ripped out a piece of us.

PLAYBOY: What features are you typically attracted to in men? In women?

Violet Myers: In men, I am very attracted to big shoulders and arms. I think that’s very manly. They don’t have to work out in the gym necessarily, I just think it’s very masculine to have big shoulders or big hands. Also, I look at shoes. I think shoes say a lot about a man’s personality.

For women, the eyes are the first feature I notice and I find attractive, especially brown or blue eyes. I always bring this up to her, but Angela White‘s eyes are so amazing. I get lost in them because they literally look like the ocean. That’s the perfect way to describe it. Still, I love eyes. tThey’re a way to see into somebody’s soul. Oh, and one more—I love clean fingernails, too.

PLAYBOY: Here’s an educational one that the people need to know! From the women’s perspective, which sexual positions are the most satisfying?

Violet Myers: I don’t want to speak for all women, but most can agree that missionary is always good because we — as the women — don’t have to put in that much work. However, and maybe because I’ve gotten stronger legs recently, but I feel like riding or being on top feels really good for me. From there, you can direct the penis and can get it to where your G-spot is. It’s also fun to be in control.

So, those two are my personal favorites. I like cowgirl and I love missionary. Those two always feel really good, especially when you have a vibrator. It makes it much more pleasurable.

For a guy, I think men really like doggy style because you get the whole point-of-view from behind that highlights the shape and curves of the body. I don’t blame them. Still, I think missionary and cowgirl are probably the most enjoyable for both parties.

PLAYBOY: Many love a woman with curves, but are intimidated when in a sexual situation with one. Any tips that can be mutually enjoyed?

Violet Myers: I like laying down flat, basically, in a plank position. You’re laying down and your thighs are almost touching. If the guy is a little bit smaller, you can still feel him really well, especially in that position. The woman lays down, almost like a plank, and the guy’s over you. It’s almost like the doggy style point-of-view, but the women is not arching her back. You’re just laying there and it feels really good, especially because your thighs are squeezing together. It’s great clit stimulation.

From there, a good spoon position is also really nice because you’re not really in your head. You’re cuddling, you’re comfortable, and you can also look back at your partner and kiss them from the woman’s point of view.

PLAYBOY: What should PLAYBOY readers look out for from you in 2025?

Violet Myers: I have some future endeavors where I’m actually making sex toys! I’m very excited to make toys for aesthetics, but also for pleasure. I will focus on all genders and all sex types. Also, check out my YouTube channel! I’ve been producing a lot more content that the viewers are enjoying. I love doing ASMR videos, vlogs, and just sneak peaks of my life. From there, I have a bunch of new projects with many different studios. So, PLAYBOY readers, expect a bunch of great content that you haven’t seen before!
