PLAYBOY’s iconic imagery over the decades is what we’re known best for, but we could never have achieved that without the discerning vision of the talented photographers that brought their visions to life for us.
Many know PLAYBOY’s most famous photographer, Stephen Wayda, as he worked with the brand for 30 years and shot some of our most famous covers.
But another name integral to our photographic history is Portuguese photographer Ana Dias. She’s worked with Playboy for more than 13 years. For our American magazine, she’s shot seven Playmates, including Priscilla Huggins, Marsha Elle, Teela Laroux, Yoli Lara, Miki Hamano, Olga De Mar and Valeria Lakhina. However, she also shoots Playboy covers and editorials alike across many countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, and more. She’s even had the cover of Playboy Germany devoted to her work, and shot a web series about creating for Playboy called Playboy Abroad: Adventures with Photographer Ana Dias.
Dias recently added Kim Kardashian to her impressive portfolio, shooting the star in a new campaign for her clothing brand Skims. To celebrate all the iconic images she’s created for Playboy over the years, we seized the opportunity to look back over her imagery and celebrate the beauty of the female form in all its glory.
