This Is Us is one of the more conceptual dramas to hit TV in quite a while. Created by Cars, Tangled, and The Guilt Trip writer Dan Fogelman, This Is Us tells the story of the Pearsons over multiple decades, from childhood to adolescence, and finally, adulthood.

Audiences responded in kind to the family-friendly goodness to the tune of more than 14.7 million viewers in the first season alone. For Annie, This Is Us feels almost foreign to her, but she considers that a feature, not a bug.
