Why Kaylabud Loves Bella From the Twilight movies

"I'm literally Bella."

Once we hit what I like to call “pumpkin spice season,” Millenials, Xers, and even some Zoomers go vampire crazy. Don’t look for Bella Lugosi or Nosferatu here, we’re talking these newfangled glittery vampires who are nicer, easy on the eyes, and most of all, sad as hell. Playboy model Kaylabud is one of countless currently binging the Twilight movies. Here’s why.

Why Kaylabud Loves the Twilight movie series

“I’m from Arizona and I moved to Washington,” Kaylabud told Playboy. “I’m literally Bella.”

Kaylabud has much in common with the brooding protagonist of the Twilight series. It’s not uncommon for fans to adore the scrappy misfit who befriends vampires and werewolves. Her beauty alone made for one of the cringiest scenes in 21st century cinema when she first met Edward Cullen in Biology.

Since the series capped off in 2012, the series has taken new life in the memesphere. At this point, it’s probably easier to mention the facets of the series that haven’t been memed. There’s the uncanny and unsettling Renesmee baby face. Comparing Jasper’s bloodlust to being hangry. But few have as much hilarious cache as Jacob Black’s line which will one day be written in the stars: “Bella, where the hell have you been, loca?

Aside from the laughs, countless fans are turning to the series for nostalgic reasons. Few movies smack of that mid-to-late ’00s Hot Topic sheen which more or less went the way of the Laserdisc once malls stopped being a thing.

Kaylabud is in the middle of her yearly Twilight movie binge. Aside from finding Bella relatable, there’s one part of the story she’s yet to recreate.

“I don’t have two guys fighting over me,” Kaylabud said. “Not yet.”
