Like every other Playboy Club model, Annie Palmz is full of surprises. When she’s not posing for the camera, she’s painting massive masterpieces. She sat down with us to discuss her obsessions, how she relates to her sign, and being a proud lifelong Jersey Girl.
Playboy: To start us off, where are you from?
Annie Palmz: I was born in New Jersey. I’ve lived here my entire life with my family. I’ve grew up along the shore. So, I’ve always just lived in a small beach town. And I love it here, too, because we also get every season.
Playboy: What was the first thing you ever dreamed of achieving?
Annie: I’m not sure how big of an achievement it is, but I always wanted to learn to paint. I always wanted to paint a canvas that was bigger than me. And I’ve painted three so far, so I’m proud of that.
Playboy: That’s awesome. Please tell me more.
Annie: I love to paint, and I don’t even know what to call the style. But I just love to paint anything, to just sit there and paint. I love to talk. It’s just a huge passion of mine. I’m very artsy. I like to paint pictures of myself and different atmospheres. Have you ever seen those pictures of the naked angels? I usually don’t show face. I love just showing the body symmetry and my long hair.
Playboy: What makes you happiest?
Annie: My dogs, I have two. They’re my little lovers. One’s named Gucci, he’s a pitbull. And the other is Oogley Boogley—the name matches perfectly—he’s a french bulldog. I love that when I walk them, people tend to run from me, because they think my pitbull is scary. But they’re the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. They love to lay down all day and cuddle.
Playboy: What would make you ghost a potential suitor?
Annie: The behavior would be the last line for me would be someone that’s just a little too persistent and pushy with me. I’m down to do new things, try new things, but if someone’s a little too pushy—hate that.
Playboy: What do you obsess about?
Annie: Honestly, I obsess about just trying new things in life. I try and make the most of every day, as it it could be the last. So, each day I talk to the people in my life and see “What can we do today? Let’s do something that we’ve been trying to do for months! Let’s do it today.” That’s me. I want to get things done. I want to achieve things. I never want to be the tomorrow person. I want to do it today.
Playboy: What food do you reach for when you’re feeling blue?
Annie: I love Italian food, any type of noodles. My favorite type of pasta is Chicken Francese with extra lemon.
Playboy: What’s a talent you wish you had?
Annie: I wish I could sing. Because I’m such a social butterfly. I think if I could sing I would sing everywhere I go. I think that’s such a beautiful talent to have.
Playboy: Do you sing anyway?
Annie: Only if the radio is louder than me.
Playboy: Who was the first fictional character you fell in love with?
Annie: My goodness. I fell in love with the dad from The Powerpuff Girls when I was younger. I thought he was so cool and so nice. And I feel like whatever those little Powerpuff Girls did, they wouldn’t get in trouble.
Playboy: I love the specificity of that answer. His name was Professor Utonium. Do you believe in astrology?
Annie: Yes. I’m a Scorpio. And I tend to make the bestest of friends with also other Scorpios. When I first looked up what I was, I learned I was a Scorpio and I read more about it. Because I’m so loving, so passionate…I was literally reading a description about myself.
Playboy: What was the last thing you Googled?
Annie: I was searching up the live shows for Playboy at Art Basel so I could watch my friends walk this week. My baddies did so good. I’m so proud of them.
