Q&A: Brooke Christine

Playboy
Texan Brooke Christine has been a creator for five years and has always looked up to Anna Nicole Smith, Marilyn Monroe, and Pamela Anderson.

Playboy Club creator Brooke Christine talks about why she loves her home gym, spending time with her family, and what she loves to cook.

Playboy: Where were you born?

Brooke Christine: I was born in Texas – the Lone Star state, where everything’s a little bigger. It was interesting for me.

It’s very conservative here and I’ve always been somebody that was not that way – I like to embrace my assets, and I was shamed a lot for that growing up. But I’m happy and Texas isn’t a bad place. I’m proud to represent something different here.

Playboy: How did you become a Playboy Creator?

Brooke Christine: I’ve been a Creator for five years now and I think I’ve always just looked up to people like Anna Nicole Smith, Marilyn Monroe, and Pamela Anderson. That’s what really struck this career path in me when I was 18 years old.

I just started selling my pictures and it really worked well for me – it gave me this newfound confidence that I never had before and I realized this is for me. I feel like I’ve found what works for me. I’m very shy, so it gave me confidence. My Creator side is my alter ego.

Playboy: What are you passionate about?

Brooke Christine: I’m very passionate about being authentic. Social media is just a highlight reel and, to me, being real about struggles is important.

There’s nothing wrong with it, but I don’t edit my pictures to alter my looks and I think that’s important right now because everything is kind of fake and perfect. I want to show that it’s okay to not be perfect, to embrace your imperfections, and that it’s still sexy to embrace realness. So that’s very important to me.

Playboy: What turns you on and what turns you off?

Brooke Christine: A turn on for me is confidence and ambition, and a turn off is someone who is judgmental, close-minded, and doesn’t have any drive.

Brooke Christine: What would make you ghost a potential love interest?

Brooke: If they didn’t accept what I do for a living – that would be a no. I’ve never had anyone not accept it yet, but I’ve just had people not be interested in it. Nobody has ever tried to make me quit though.

Playboy: Who inspires you and why?

Brooke Christine: Anna Nicole Smith inspires me because I feel like she was very unapologetically herself. She was curvy in a time when it wasn’t really accepted to be curvy and she was still successful. She was funny and sexy and was just herself, and I have so much respect for her for doing that. Watching her really made me who I am.

Playboy: What makes you the happiest?

Brooke Christine: Being with my family makes me the happiest version of myself. My family is very important to me. If I’m on a trip for a certain amount of time, the first thing I do when I get home is make plans with my family.

They love me so much and are so supportive. It’s important to surround yourself with that. Also, I love to travel solo. It’s something that’s very liberating and I’ve discovered myself so much through it.

Playboy: What’s your favorite place that you’ve traveled to?

Brooke Christine: Probably Key West, Florida. It’s just so beautiful and everyone’s so kind. I love it there.

Playboy: What is the best piece of advice that you were ever given?

Brooke Christine: Whatever you put out into the universe will come back to you tenfold. There’s good karma and bad karma, and if you’re putting good things out into the universe then good things will come back to you.

Playboy: What is your wellness and fitness routine?

Brooke Christine: I have a home gym. I workout three to six times a week for my mental health. I love to read, take baths, journal, and do skincare regimens. All those things really just make me feel more aligned with myself.

Playboy: What is your favorite thing to cook?

Brooke Christine: I make this chicken enchilada casserole that my mom always made for me growing up. It always just tastes like home to me and I really enjoy making it. She taught me how to make it, of course.

Playboy: Is there any advice you would want to give women who are thinking about becoming Creators?

Brooke Christine: It’s incredible to experience and learn about yourself through this. It makes you feel sexy and confident on your own terms. Be real with yourself and feel sexy about that.
