Canadia native Cam Coss sits down with Playboy to discuss dreams, passions, and the first Disney hunk she fell in love with.
Playboy: To start us off, where were you born?
Cam Coss: I was born and raised in Canada.
Playboy: What did you most enjoy in school?
Cam: I enjoyed Art classes throughout high school, I excelled in anything drawing much more so than any math or science class.
Playboy: What was the first thing you dreamed of achieving?
Cam: I dreamed of achieving success in the social media world. I grew up watching YouTube channels and strived to be someone other people looked up to and watched!
Playboy: What are you passionate about?
Cam: I’m very passionate about animals, I’ve been a vegetarian for five years. I do everything I can to take care of my own pets and do anything in my power to protect other animals.
Playboy: What are your favorite video games?
Cam: My favorite video game is Minecraft. I grew up playing it since the pocket edition came out, and still play it to this day frequently, almost too frequently.
Playboy: Who was the first fictional character you fell in love with?
Cam: The first fictional character I ever fell in love with was Flynn Rider from Tangled. I watched Tangled every time I went camping, which was every summer as a kid. I had a strong infatuation with Flynn.
Playboy: What’s the title of your autobiography?
Cam: “What Not to Do.”
Playboy: What’s the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Cam: Best piece of advice I was ever given is that people are going to judge you no matter what you do, so you might as well be doing something that makes you happy. Just be yourself.
Playboy: What inspired you to get into cosplay?
Cam: Growing up mostly watching cartoons or animated shows always made me feel a sense of longing to resemble certain characters. I find within cosplay you really can achieve that, and put yourself into that world.
Playboy: What was your favorite cosplay that you’ve done so far?
Cam: My favorite cosplay I’ve done to date is my Avatar cosplay. It took about six hours to create. My followers on Tiktok and Instagram loved it, almost as much as I did, which sparked a need in me to create more!
Playboy: What is your dream cosplay costume that you haven’t done yet?
Cam: Dream cosplay costume would be Ryuk from Death Note. I’ve always wanted to create my own rendition of him from scratch!
