A fitness fanatic and coffee aficionado, Playboy Club creator Bunny Kaye is a bundle of red-haired, positive energy. The Wisconsin native is eager and industrious—she did some live streaming immediately before this interview, matter o’ fact—and was happy to discuss her all-embracing approach to content creation, her fans, and her go-to java.
PLAYBOY: Your reaction to being one of the most popular creators in 2024 on the platform?
Bunny Kaye: It’s really exciting! I put in a lot of work. And I started implementing games [a few months ago] and that’s been really fun.
PLAYBOY: Games? Do tell!
Bunny Kaye: Well, I do wheel spins, for example. The prizes in the wheel spins are things like a change in outfit, or [I’ll send] pictures to the winner’s DM. And then [the prizes for] my card games are like the wheel, except better. And if you want to pay a little extra for something even better—and longer—you can check out the tip menu.
PLAYBOY: So if you’re giving advice to other creators, it sounds like interactivity is the way to go.
Bunny Kaye: Yes. Success is about making connections with people. I was a bartender for four years, and I worked at Starbucks for nine years, and as a receptionist at a McLaren dealership, so I learned how to connect with all kinds of people. And I think Playboy is all about caring for your users, getting to know them, remembering things about them. So I have a good fan base of people that I’ve known all the way back from when I first started. I can confidently say that’s what sets me apart from the other creators.
PLAYBOY: Demographically speaking, what’s the divide between your male and female users?
Bunny Kaye: I would definitely say there’s more men, but I’m a gym rat, and I’m super-muscular, and women [seem to] like that. I’m surprised by the amount of female fans I have. Some people call me “Dommy Mommy,” and women love that.
PLAYBOY: Take me on your content creation journey.
Bunny Kaye: It was mainly modeling that got me interested in this. I love the attention from modeling, and that goes with my love of fitness – it’s kind of fun to show off [the results] of your exercise. I started just for the attention [laughs], and I didn’t think I would be as successful at it is.
PLAYBOY: Describe your perfect day.
Bunny Kaye: I have to get my coffee each morning, and then I go to the gym for two hours every day, because I freaking love working out. I’m kind of a homebody, and I love my animals—two cats and one dog—so then I’ll go home, and that’s basically it for the day. At night, I’m very social, and I love dancing. So coffee, gym, home, friends.
PLAYBOY: If the world was ending tomorrow, what would be your final cup of coffee?
Bunny Kaye: An iced latte with butterscotch and almond milk from Foxtail.
PLAYBOY: What would make you ghost a potential suitor?
Bunny Kaye: If they’re not assertive about planning stuff, I’ll ghost them so fast.
PLAYBOY: If that’s your turn off, what’s your turn on?
Bunny Kaye: I like when my partner is dominant and in charge.
PLAYBOY: Aside from coffee, what’s your favorite thing to splurge on?
Bunny Kaye: Shopping! I love to shop at Zara, and I especially love Darcsport. If you’re [a regular] at the gym and you’re cool, you wear Darcsport.
PLAYBOY: Finally, what’s the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Bunny Kaye: My interview at the McLaren dealership was the first time I was around big money people. The interviewer told me that the key in life is to manifest everything. If you believe you can do it, then it will happen.
