Editor’s note: Elle Rose is one of the top performers on The Playboy Club. We get to know her better in our Q&A.
PLAYBOY: Where were you born and what was your experience growing up like?
Elle: I grew up in a small town in Eastern Canada with less than 5,000 people. I grew up as a country girl… four wheeling, snowmobiling and all things outdoorsy. I was definitely not afraid to play in the mud and get dirty!
However, I always knew I was meant for something bigger than what my hometown had to offer and did move right after high school. I do appreciate where I come from though because I feel like it humbled me. I grew up having to work for the things I have and not just having things given to me (most of the time – definitely a daddy’s girl).
PLAYBOY: What was the first thing you dreamed of achieving?
Elle: Probably being a princess or having a pink house! Haha! I always dreamed of being successful though and accomplishing whatever it was that I had in my mind. My goals change often if I’m being totally honest and I have a lot of different interests and aspirations; I always just want to succeed at whatever it is that I am aiming for!
PLAYBOY: What’s on your travel bucket list?
Elle: I would literally travel anywhere. I am such a travel bug and love to explore! My next top travel destinations are Greece, California and Switzerland.

PLAYBOY: Where’s your favourite place you’ve traveled to so far?
Elle: My favourite place I’ve travelled to so far would probably have to be Ireland. It’s so beautiful and I loved the vibe outside of the big cities – so quaint and cute! …or Mexico, because who doesn’t love a good beach!?
PLAYBOY: What are you passionate about?
Elle: I am passionate about a lot of things. I have so many interests and hobbies and am kind of all over the place when it comes to one particular passion these days, but I do always love being creative in one way or another.
However, spreading positive energy is something I am super passionate about. I love to boost up other people and make them feel good! The world we live in can be such a harsh place so I love to make others feel good, even if it’s only a little bit.
PLAYBOY: What would make you ghost a potential love interest?
Elle: Being judgmental. I absolutely can’t stand when someone has something negative to say about another person’s success or interests, or life in general. Just let people live and stay in your own lane, ya know!?
PLAYBOY: What do you most want to change about the world?
Elle: This is such a tough question because there are a lot of things I’d love to change. I try very hard to focus on the positives in each situation. So, I have to say I would love to change how focused the world is on negativity and negative news.
I often purposely avoid the news for that reason. I like to try to stay naïve to a certain extent because of that, as it can get draining and it’s way too easy to fall into a negative spiral and negative thoughts.
PLAYBOY: What turns you on/off?
Elle: A man in a suit – my weakness! UGH!!! Also, someone that isn’t afraid to put my attitude in check (in a respectful way… and only if I deserve it hehe), but at the same time someone that treats me like a princess.
An immediate turn off would be bad breath or someone that doesn’t take care of themselves. Also someone who is rude to others for no reason at all, and a lack of self-awareness… to name a few!
PLAYBOY: What would the title of your autobiography be?
Elle: A Real-Life Barbie: Adding Pink and A Dash of Glitter to Just About Everything.
PLAYBOY: Describe your perfect day.
Elle: My perfect day… I wake up with the sun shining and cuddles from my kitty, Princess. A hot cup of black coffee and a walk also sets me up for a really good day. I love brunch with all my favourite fruits, shopping and spending time with people that I love.
My days don’t have to be overly exciting to be perfect and I like to enjoy the little things. Though, that said, waking up on a beachy vacation would also be pretty perfect!
PLAYBOY: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten in your life so far?
Elle: The best piece of advice I’ve gotten in my life is to be kind and patient with myself and that the only thing standing in my way is ME.
Having patience with myself and positive self-talk is invaluable. When self-doubt sets in the only thing actually getting in my way is ME, so I actively work to be my own biggest hype girl!
