Domenica Tomsich’s online handle says it all: Urfavlatina hails from Ecuador, but is already well on her way to be an international sensation. She sat down with us to discuss her passions, dreams, and the polarizing villains she gushes over.
Editor’s Note: This interview was conducted in Spanish, and was translated into English.
Playboy: To start us off, where were you born?
Urfavlatina: I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and have lived here all my life.
Playboy: What’s the first thing you ever dreamed of achieving?
Urfavlatina: I always wanted to be part of the wide world of influencers, especially fitness influencers. Any influencer who was all about fitness, exercise, the gym – loved them.
Playboy: Where do you want to travel?
Urfavlatina: Croatia! I have roots there and it’s always been such an interesting country to me. Dubrovnik, especially. Because they filmed parts of House of the Dragon there. I’m team green, by the way.
Playboy: I think you might be the first person I’ve ever spoken to who’s Team Green.
Urfavlatina: I just love Aemond. I love his confidence, the eyepatch [laughs].
Playboy: What are you passionate about?
Urfavlatina: I just love trying to be a better person every single day. I want to take my popularity and build something positive with it, maybe a foundation to help take care of animals. I just love animals.
Playboy: What possession do you treasure most?
Urfavlatina: That’s easy: I treasure my family more than anything in the world. This includes my pets!
Playboy: What do you love most about your cat?
Urfavlatina: She’s very crazy. She’s a rescue. But she’s just so sweet with me. So affectionate. She follows me everywhere. She’s occasionally protective, she doesn’t always trust visitors who come into my house.
Playboy: Do you believe in astrology?
Urfavlatina: Yes, I dabble. I’m a Libra, and I feel like as a sign, we’re all very charismatic, empathetic, and just real.
Playboy: What was the last thing you Googled?
Urfavlatina: “Why won’t my cat sleep with me in my bed?” It’s strange, but I had doubts about her sleeping habits because she used to sleep in the bathroom sink. And it still feels so strange to me.
Playboy: Who was the first fictional character you fell in love with?
Urfavlatina: Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders. Like Aemond, I just really love how confident he is. He’s so intelligent too. I’m just super attracted to people who are smart and strategic.
Playboy: What quality do you think is the most desirable quality in a person?
Urfavlatina: I’m really into qualities that define someone as a “good person.” Someone who’s not just a good person, but a good son, a good father, a good grandson. Someone who is very family-oriented.
Playboy: Who is a woman that inspires you?
Urfavlatina: My mom. No matter what terrible things may happen, she’s determined to come out of any situation stronger. Seguir adelante. It’s something she instilled in me.
