This Tiny Sex Toy Packs a Serious Punch

Iroha
If you're looking to add a bit of fun to your sex life, iroha may have just the thing for you.

The world of sex toys is more diverse and beautiful than ever before, meaning that everyone from singles and couples to polycules can share the fun of having all kinds of orgasms.

While sex toys in the 80’s favored hard plastics and garish neons, they have come a very long way. Thanks to companies like Lelo and Tenga, just to name a few, sex toys look more like “objet d’art” than ever before, which is great news for those of us who far prefer that aesthetic.

Tenga’s iroha line is one to watch if you crave sex toys that boast both beauty and function. Inspired by the aesthetics of Japan, the line is designed specifically for women.

Iroha’s latest innovation is the SVR+, an upgraded version of its original SVR vibe. The build is simple: a silicone ring, which can be worn on a penis, a strap-on, or simply looped around fingers, sits atop a rectangular rounded device which contains the vibrator. Ideally, this part can be used for vaginal and clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex. But since it’s roughly bullet shaped, it can double as a great toy to use during foreplay as well. Iroha has a handy guide to how to use it on its website as well if you’re looking for pointers.

The SVR+ comes in Coral Pink and Very Peri, which are both lovely to look at and remind me of spring. But how does it work compared to the original SVR? Well, since I own both and have now put both to the test, I can say the SVR+ is perfect if you need heavier vibration during sex play. This tends to be the case for me, so with my original SVR, I could use it for foreplay, but I could not orgasm using it.

The SVR+, however, did the trick. I tried it both solo and with my partner, and it does do the job. However, it does have one issue which I will mention for those who may function similarly. Since it’s intended to be worn on the penis or partner’s strap-on during sex, it will not remain in constant contact with the vagina during thrusts – which may present an issue if you are the type of person that needs consistent vibrations in order to orgasm.

That said, the 5 strengths and 3 rhythm modes certainly offer great variety for all types of pleasure, and you get one mode you don’t get with the original SVR. It’s waterproof just like the original, so you can take it into the tub or shower with you if you so desire.

The SVR+ is $89, $20 more than the original SVR. I’d say it’s worth it for the extra power if you know you need it. But if you simply prefer to get the upgraded version to enjoy that extra mode, more power to you. You won’t regret it.
