Playboy Creator Danielle Cohn has always been on the shorter side, but she’s never let her stature slow her down. Danielle’s favorite athlete, former New England Patriots running back Danny Woodhead, has always been a source of inspiration to her.
Why Dani Cohn loves Danny Woodhead
“I’m only 4’ 10”, so growing up, my whole family would compare me to him. When I was younger, I was just like, ‘My God, he’s so cool!’ My family would always be like ‘He’s so short, just like you!’ When I would play flag football, I was always the really short girl. And usually, I was only the only girl on my team. He was sort of a motivation to me, because I was so short and I wasn’t the fastest runner,” says Danielle Cohn.
Woodhead began his NFL career in the 2008 season, playing for the New York Jets. From 2010 to 2012, Woodhead played for the New England Patriots, later playing for the San Diego Chargers, and finally, the Baltimore Ravens.
During his stint as the running back for the Patriots, Woodhead took home his only Superbowl win in 2011. After ten seasons in the NFL, Woodhead announced his retirement on March 18, 2018.
Woodhead’s retirement from football, that is. In 2021, Woodhead qualified for USGA Championships. When he’s not on the back nine or podcasting, Woodhead is enjoying retirement with his wife Stacia, and kids Sis, William, Mae Mae and Hopie.
