The holiday best associated with family, food and football is nearly here! Naturally, NFL Thanksgiving is an American tradition that is cherished from coast-to-coast.
In addition to your family’s annual game of two-hand touch, football will be an all-day thing this Thursday. Commencing at 12:30 p.m. ET, the NFL offers three contests on Thanksgiving. Of course, the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions will both be in action (as they are every Turkey Day).

Behind a well-balanced attack, the Lions (10-1) will host the Chicago Bears (4-7) in an NFC North affair. This will be the first of two games between these rivals in 2024, as the Bears and Lions will meet again on December 22 in Chicago.
Notably, DraftKings Sportsbook and many other operators have Detroit as the Super Bowl favorite for the first time in history.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants
Venue: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
Kickoff time: 4:30 p.m. ET
TV: FOX
Betting line: Dallas -3.5

The Cowboys (4-7) are as much a part of Thanksgiving as cranberry sauce and stuffing (or dressing, if you prefer that verbiage). In 2024, “America’s team” will host the rival New York Giants (2-9).
Dallas enters as a short favorite for Thanksgiving, but this game in Big D will be tough to forecast. Quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Daniel Jones are both out of action.

For our nightcap on NFL Thanksgiving 2024, we should see a competitive game between the Green Bay Packers (8-3) and Minnesota Vikings (9-2). These sides are neck-and-neck in the divisional standings—I fully expect the players to take that personally.
Keep in mind: this is the contest wherein the top performers will enjoy postgame turkey at the 50-yard line.
